GTPOW 40W Bifacial Portable Solar Panel

I acquired this solar panel charger for my ham radio hobby and for bolstering my emergency preparedness kit, especially since we live in a hurricane-prone area. I've tested it out in both sunny and shady backyard conditions, and overall, it seems to perform well.
The portability is definitely the biggest selling point; it packs down nicely and comes with a carrying case, making it suitable for camping. While the ads suggest it's great for hiking, I found that with its compact size and weight, it might not be worth the extra burden on a long hike. However, it is absolutely great for car camping or for emergency preparedness, which is exactly what I needed it for.
As with any panel, I would definitely suggest adding a battery system for consistent power output. This panel can effectively keep devices topped up throughout the day, delivering up to 40W of power when used correctly.It seems made well and durable, with water resistance built in.

This is a very compact, high quality 40W portable panel. It is quite lightweight and easy to setup. The case it comes in doubles as a stand, with adjustable braces. The panel doesn't use mc4 connectors, rather it has 1X USB-A, 1 USB-C & one small 20V DC plug. It doesn't come with any wires, so you will need to get the dc plug if you want to charge my power station with it.I have used it to charge various USB devices, it excels at this. With a clear bright view of the sun it will do 20w charging via usb-c. It is very easy to set this up quickly. It is waterproof and it has a durable build. When it's folded up is is around the size of a tablet.
